In the gaming world, “nerf” is a slang
term for when game developers make changes to reduce the power or abilities of
a (usually overpowered) character or item. Between my affinity for gaming and
the many times I’ve imagined what I could accomplish in the world if I only had
my full strength, this meme seemed made for me!
